Tints of Nature will not damage your hair so you are ok to color your hair.

Dry dull hair that feels damaged?
Use the Tints of Nature range which is designed to work with colored hair to maintain a natural balance of protein and moisture.

About six to eight weeks after I have colored my hair the color turns to a lighter shade on the ends?
This is normal with all hair color; even natural hair will lighten. Remember sunlight and pollution in the atmosphere will all lead to color fading. Use Tints of Nature hair care products to protect the hair’s delicate protein and moisture balance.

How can I darken the ends of my hair without having all my hair colored?
Choose the same color as before, mix 25mls color with 25mls Color Fix in a clean plastic bowl, add a small amount of Tints of Nature shampoo and mix thoroughly. This can be applied to the faded ends with a sponge. Check color after 15 minutes - this should be enough time, add water and work up to a lather. Rinse off then condition using Tints of Nature conditioner.

Is there a way of removing permanent hair color if I am not happy with the result?
Yes. But it has to done at the hair salon, as they have the correct chemicals to do this. Please refer to the instruction leaflet supplied with the color; see the paragraph on strand testing.

What can I do about the brassy yellow tones in my grey hair?
Ash color is perfect for this problem. You can use 6C or 10C, depending on the shade used.

What is double processed hair?
Hair that has two or three chemical processes on it, and Bleach and Hilift colors using high volumes of peroxide.

Can I highlight with Tints of Nature color?
Yes but you need help to do this.

How often should I color my hair?
Every four to six weeks.

The color did not work on my grey hair?
Grey hair that is resistant to color will need to be shampooed first. Use Tints of Nature shampoo, towel dry well and apply the color to damp hair. You can extend the development time up to fifty minutes. Medication can also be a problem; H R T and Thyroxin can block color.
